It has been just over 2 weeks since Rounds 6 and 7 of the AFJSA V8 Superboats were held in Temora NSW and I am still a fair way away from getting all video and photos done but I am ploughing through it.

Both rounds were held in glorious weather and competition was fierce all weekend. I have to wait till next year now for anymore of this racing.

Here is a photo (from Round 7 on Saturday) of Troublemaker getting a bit of air on a right-hander at the far end of the track. Brooke Lucas and Navi went hard from Heat 1 on both days, it was great to watch.

Hi Jetboat Teams,

After Round 5 of the AFJSA Jetsprint Series to be held at Cabarita on the 3rd and 4th of September I am offering a photo and frame special for the race teams.

Receive all the photos taken of your boat for personal use (download fullsize un-edited Jpegs, normally $15 each) from both Cabarita rounds and a four photo Gallery Print (photos of your choice) in a double matted, modern, black 16" x 20" timber frame. I would normally end up with between 50 to 150 photos of each boat from each round. The frame is similar to the 9 photo frame most of you have already seen, just a little smaller. It will include three 5" x 7" and one 8" x 10" prints and a silver plaque with your choice of wording on three lines. This framed print is normally $165 excluding freight. The special price for this package is $350, which represents a huge saving over normal prices and includes delivery of the frame anywhere in Australia. 

These frames would make great gifts for your sponsors and crew and if extra framed prints are required I will prepare them for $150 per additional frame and $10 extra freight per frame.

See a sample of the frame below. Please let me know if you are interested in this offer by Friday the 2nd Sept (before the races) to ensure I take plenty of photos of your boat. Full payment is required by Monday 12th Sept by direct deposit or (cash at the weekend) before I make the frames as they are all special ordered and individually made.

Round 4 of the AFJSA Jetsprint series held at Cabarita was run and won on the 6th and 7th of August. I managed to get to both days of racing. Unfortunately Saturday was interrupted by occasional showers of rain slowing the days proceedings. Sunday was a completely different day, fine and sunny, a perfect day for racing and the decent sized crowd got to witness some great competition. 

Ramjet and Natwell Racing had both succumbed to engine failures but the rest of the teams went hard all day, with Darryl Hutton taking the top prize for the day in a borrowed boat. Competition in the 400's was intense with Brett and Lin Thornton in 2 Obsessed taking a hard earned win.

Can't wait for Round 5 coming up the 1st weekend in September. I will have a new gallery print ready to go for the Tweed Coast Jetsprint Club, containing photos from the Meremere round of the UIM World Series held in New Zealand in January 2016.
