I decided to shoot from a couple of different spots this weekend so on Sunday I headed up into the bush behind the finish line to get the cars across the crest after the line and then moved to the finish line to get them going across the line. It was a nice change and there was a bit of action to be had ! The Escorts and the BMW's putting on a nice show. The best show of all though was Shane McAndrew, getting loose at the crest and finishing up in the wall after 2 rolls. Happily he got out ok with no injuries but the same can't be said for the car. Knackered !
Congrats to Dean Tighe taking out the overall win but only after a hard fought tussle with Michael von Rappard.
Here is a link to the photos. The Shane McAndrew crash in in Sunday's gallery. I have also attached a couple of photos below.

The MG Car Club of Qld are holding the Qld Hillclimb Championships this weekend at Mt Cotton. I will be able to get to unofficial practise on Friday and official practise on Saturday. I have prepared the usual 16" x 20" framed gallery print for the club to raffle or give away. I'm looking forward to photographing some quick cars. Here is a quick and dirty layout of the framed print
Then on Sunday it's down to Cabarita for Round 4 of the AFJSA National Jetsprint series. So far it looks like being a massive round with one of the biggest fields of entrants seen at Caba. I suspect there are quite a few internationals ready to get some local practise this weekend with the World Series just around the corner.
I have prepared a 20" x 24" framed gallery print for the Tweed Coast Jetsprint Club and have also organised ten x A3 180 piece jigsaw puzzles this meeting.
See the layout below of the gallery print and some quick pics of the jigsaw taken with my phone.
See some of you there.

It was very satisfying to see the multi-shot panorama of the track I photographed a few years ago finally hanging on the wall amongst the other impressive memorabilia. Thanks Elaine Hamilton.

Perfect weather and a big turnout of competitors made for great competition over the weekend. Michael von Rappard produced the fastest run of the weekend with a low 38 second time.
Mt Cotton Hillclimb also played host to a special guest over the weekend with Daryl Beattie running a brand new Ford Focus RS around the track getting his times consistently down to low 48's on Sunday.
The photos have been sorted and uploaded to my website at this link and the videos of the 1st run on Saturday have been uploaded to my YouTube channel at this link

It was an interesting meeting, a few quick regulars missing but a couple of new ones to replace them made up a good sized field. I managed to attend Sunday only for what was great day of competition with no major delays. One open wheeler into the nuts and that was about it.
I spent most of the day doing something a little different, I like to shoot tight-ish normally but I thought I'd shoot real tight instead. Hopefully I had a successful day. I have attached half a dozen from the day.

]]>I didn't arrive until after 10:30am so missed most of the Come and Try starters and it was a practise day for me too. I was trying out a new camera body, comparing it with the two bodies I usually take with me on these days. So it was a day playing with different settings on different camera bodies and lenses, meaning a few missed opportunities and not as many photos as usual. Didn't make a decision about the new body yet, I need to get one to the Jet Boat racing to see how it performs there.
Still plenty of photos though for everyone to go through. The link to the photos is here http://www.iancolleyphotography.com.au/f477058731

A huge field competed in the last round for 2016 and because there were no major delays during the day, other than a couple of stoppages to remove a goanna from the track, the drivers got more runs than I think they expected considering the 100 odd entrants. The open wheeler boys put on a great display breaking into the 37's.

]]>The night racing at Temora wasn't as well lit as I had hoped and there were big differences in the light at various parts of the track, particularly through the centre. Not as well lit as Baypark in NZ. I had to use the EM1 with the 35 - 100 f2 instead of the E5 and 50 - 200 SWD because of the better high ISO performance which left me shooting a bit wide but you get that. Here are a couple of shots with reflections from the night racing I liked. Bring on next season.

After Round 5 of the AFJSA Jetsprint Series to be held at Cabarita on the 3rd and 4th of September I am offering a photo and frame special for the race teams.
Receive all the photos taken of your boat for personal use (download fullsize un-edited Jpegs, normally $15 each) from both Cabarita rounds and a four photo Gallery Print (photos of your choice) in a double matted, modern, black 16" x 20" timber frame. I would normally end up with between 50 to 150 photos of each boat from each round. The frame is similar to the 9 photo frame most of you have already seen, just a little smaller. It will include three 5" x 7" and one 8" x 10" prints and a silver plaque with your choice of wording on three lines. This framed print is normally $165 excluding freight. The special price for this package is $350, which represents a huge saving over normal prices and includes delivery of the frame anywhere in Australia.
These frames would make great gifts for your sponsors and crew and if extra framed prints are required I will prepare them for $150 per additional frame and $10 extra freight per frame.
See a sample of the frame below. Please let me know if you are interested in this offer by Friday the 2nd Sept (before the races) to ensure I take plenty of photos of your boat. Full payment is required by Monday 12th Sept by direct deposit or (cash at the weekend) before I make the frames as they are all special ordered and individually made.
See you at Round 5.

Ramjet and Natwell Racing had both succumbed to engine failures but the rest of the teams went hard all day, with Darryl Hutton taking the top prize for the day in a borrowed boat. Competition in the 400's was intense with Brett and Lin Thornton in 2 Obsessed taking a hard earned win.

The weekend was won by Malcolm Oastler who only managed to post two times on Sunday, crashing on his third run. His times were so quick in his first two runs he was never headed the rest of the day by any other competitors.
There were a couple of other notable events, Neil Lewis having a brake rotor split and fly apart and finding out he had no brakes into the hairpin, so straight through the nuts he went. Mark Crespan in the Cobra suffered a drive shaft failure that broke fuel lines starting a big fire under his car with flames leaping into the cockpit of the car. He got out ok and marshals put the fire out quickly.
The photos are now done and uploaded to my web site here

The first one finished is Harvest Transport's massive crash on qualifying day, Friday, at Baypark Stadium. It would have to rate as one of the most spectacular jet boat crashes I have seen. Unfortunately the boat was out for the rest of the championship but it was great to see the driver and navi walk away a bit shaken up but otherwise unhurt. Says a lot for the strength and integrity of the boats and the safety equipment in place.
This photo sequence, possibly the only photos taken of the crash showing the boat and its video image on the big screen at the same time, is available for sale as a 16" x 20" (40cm x 50cm) print for $125 (AUD) until the end of May 2016. It's normal price is $150 (AUD). This price is for a print only and excludes delivery. I will post to Australia, New Zealand, U.S. , Canada and any other country Australia Post will deliver to.

I only managed to get to racing on Sunday and tried to keep my photo numbers down a bit to speed up my processing time after the event. The Oly E5, E-M1 and lenses stood up to some serious abuse over the 2 weekends of the UIM World Series Jetsprints. A couple of long showers with my camera gear to wash off the heavily encrusted mud to get to how it looks in the photos, then some careful cleaning with pre-moistened lens wipes to get it all looking like new. Ready to play another weekend.

The competition between the Americans, Canadians, Aussies and the Kiwis was spectacular with the New Zealand teams too good, taking wins at both events in both classes. We have to do this in Australia, hang on, we will, in two years it's our turn to host this series. Can't wait.
I have finished sorting through and culling images down to a respectable number and am in the process of uploading them to my web site. I hope to have them all up by Thursday or Friday of this week. At the moment I have "Crashes and Spins and other fun Stuff" for both rounds "Random track photos" and photos for Eagle Automotive and Harvest Transport already loaded up for viewing.

]]>Both days competition went pretty smoothly with few interruptions to proceedings. Although Neil Lewis had a big off at Lovers on Sunday which put an end to his day. He appeared to run a bit wide entering the left hander at Lovers and got in to some loose stuff and ran wide and off the track smacking the new wall on the right pretty hard. The car sustained a bit of damage to right side front and rear wheels, suspension and wings. Neil appeared ok thankfully.

The series had already been won by Phonsy Mullan and Kelsey Gill in Ramjet and they sat the weekend out after Phonsy had undergone more surgery on his legs.
The weekend was won by NZ racers Rob Coley and his navi Kellie Minell in Poison Ivy, a wickedly fast boat with a 705 cu in motor putting out about 1200 hp. They did it the hard way too, getting back out there after a huge crash in heat round 5.
The 350 Class was won by Jake Garlick and his navi in Evil As and Damien O'Leary and his navi won the Group A 400 Class.
As usual I took heaps of photos and they have been culled, sorted and culled again and will be loaded up to my web site during this week.

I spent most of the day at the hairpin mucking around with slow shutter speeds which made it difficult to catch the sequence below but overall I had a satisfying day. It was an interesting day from a photography aspect with recent excavation work carried out at the track allowing access to previously difficult places to shoot. There has been ongoing work all year, all of it making photography a bit easier not to mention providing a bit more run off room for drivers making the track a little safer.
The most recent changes around the 1st loop allowed some different shots from the usual and the changes also allowed more light on to the track. Much better for photography and I suspect better conditions for drivers to see without the usual heavy shade going through that section.
Here are a few photos from the new vantage point.

I will be adding at a later date some larger edited photos, some of my faves, to additional galleries but for the time being, done. Phew !
The morning session on Sunday started out with some quick times and was mishap free but it was after lunch when all the action happened. Everyone must have come back from lunch with Red Mist in their eyes. Quite a few boats ended up out of the water and upside down with Excalibur, Mongrel and the Kanaris Engines Racing team providing some extra excitement for spectators. The good thing, nobody hurt and surprisingly Excalibur even managed to keep running the rest of the day considering the size of the crash.
Photos from the event can be found here.

A flowing track layout had some high speeds and quick times being achieved on both practise day and race day.
Ramjet took out Superboat honours for the weekend with Grumpy winning the 400's and Evil As taking out the 350 class trophy.

Anyway, here are a couple of Kamakazi from Saturday. The photos are of 3 different launches off the start line from 3 runs and 3 lots of air with the last showing the boat nearly completely out of the water. Gotta love it.

The Villanova Players start the season of "Ginger Mick at Gallipoli" friday this week.
Good luck to everyone involved and thanks for the invitation to shoot the rehearsals. I have attached a couple of photos from the night and a link to Villanova Players web site is here.
A link to the rest of my photos from the night can be found here.
Part of the press release from Villanova Players describing the play is below.
Ginger Mick at Gallipoli was a collection of poems by C. J Dennis published at the time of the First World War.
This adaptation by Stuart Morritt is a lively physical staging, with songs and movement, bringing to life the story of Ginger Mick, the best mate of the Sentimental Bloke; his days selling rabbits, falling in love and answering the call of the Great War and being shipped off to the Dardanelles.
A heart warming story of mateship, told in the contemporary words of our national poet.

The track was a bit damp this morning so everyone had a fairly careful first lap to get a feel for the track. It was nice to see a few new cars today as well as some of the usual favourites. Also good to see Alan McConnell back in a car and looking like he will be quick around the hill.
Crash of the day goes to James Heymer in his open wheeler, in and over the nuts at the hairpin on the way back. Looked like a wild ride.

The days competition went smoothly with very few interruptions. The only car to sustain any real damage was the Ford Cobra of Mark Crespan who cleaned up some armco after the finish line. They repaired the "Mongrel" and got it back on the track only missing one run.
I have lots of photos to sort through and cull to a reasonable number, probably keeping me busy for the rest of the week. In the mean time I have a few photos of the Mt Cotton Hillclimb/MG Car Club of Brisbane "El Presidente" Neil Lewis giving the John Davies Special open wheeler some berries in the 2nd loop on his last lap of the day. Nice to watch !

There are a couple of quick open wheelers missing from the starting line up but overall a nice field of cars.

Saturday saw a very tight and technical track layout that caught a lot of drivers out. I think this meeting had the most boats come out of the water I have ever seen.
Sunday's track layout was opened up a fair bit and was a flowing and fast track allowing the boats to show some real speed. There were a lot less crashes on Sunday.
Here are a few photos from the action on Saturday.
As usual I have thousands of photos to sort through and will add a couple more from Sunday's racing up here in a couple of days.
Off to the Queensland Hillclimb Championships this weekend for some more motor sport, good stuff.

Rounds 2 and 3 are being held this weekend at the Round Mountain Rd, Cabarita track. Round 2 which was to be held in NSW was cancelled at Easter this year so Round 2 will be held on Saturday and Round 3 (the normal round) will be held on the Sunday. There are a couple of Kiwi boats running this weekend, it will be nice to see how quick they are. Racing should be great because both days count as points rounds not the usual practise on Saturday and serious racing on Sunday. Can't wait !
I have finished the framed gallery print for the event and attached a sample below. These limited edition (20" x 24") gallery prints are available for sale at $195 each. There is also a copy of the flyer for the event attached.
If you get the chance, come and see some spectacular motor sport.

It was another day of trying to keep the shutter speeds as low as possible and still get sharp photos.
I couldn't get to Saturdays competition but the hairpin and the nuts saw some more action with Paul Van Wijk going into and over the nuts. He was ok except for a cut leg, good news. The nuts showing their worth again.
Sunday saw clear skies and another great day of competition. Warwick Hutchinson took outright honours for the day. There were a couple interesting moments in the day that I caught on camera. The yellow Escort of Jeff and Alex Daniels got very loose on the uphill kink before turning into the 2nd loop. I'm not sure who was driving but they showed some good skills keeping it together and Shane Merrick who is always getting plenty of air and just a little loose on occasion ran off the black stuff coming out of the 2nd loop putting an early end to his last lap of the day. Fortunately no damage done in either off.
I also finished the framed gallery print for the QHC round next month. I have included a photo of the frame (16" x 20") below that I believe will be raffled at the event. The winner can leave the photos in or replace them easily with their own if they wish.

The track was in great condition and there were some very quick times, with a few class records broken. Warwick Hutchinson took out fastest time of the day in his lightning quick open wheeler. It's an amazing car, when he gets off the throttle it has a massive backfire that you can feel through your whole body. Frightens the hell out of you the first few times it happens.
As well as a day of very quick times it was also a day of big accidents. Sunday saw two huge offs. The first being Pierz Harrex in his super quick BMW. He was on a very fast lap and locked everything up coming into the hairpin and it's the only car I have seen go into and over the nuts. Ended up 2m in the air but was pulled up very quickly by the nuts and the catch fence. The other big crash was Barry Smith in his V8 Special. He just went straight into the tyre barrier at the 2nd loop at a fair speed. The car sustained a lot of damage but Barry got out of the car and appeared ok.
The photos are all done now and uploaded to my galleries

I have had a play with some more photos from last round, adding a little extra motion blur to accentuate the impression of speed. One of the photos has a bit of ghosting as well, I think I like it, I'm not sure.

Might see you at the races.

I could only get to Sundays racing and decided I would spend the day doing some low shutter speed shots to give the photos some motion blur. Some are going to like the blur in the photos and some aren't, thats ok. Hopefully more like the effect than dislike it, we'll see !
Here are a few lightly edited photos from the day.

It was a great turn out of entrants, in excess of eighty I believe, with a couple of extra open wheelers and hardtops. Of particular interest to me was the Audi Quattro rally car, a beast of thing to drive around the hill. Such an exciting car to watch and listen to. Looks like it needs a bit of dirt on the track so it can spin up the tyres instead of doing wheel stands and stoppies all the way round the track - unreal ! I hope it's back next year a few more times than 2014.
I will be working on the photos over the next few days but in the mean time here are a couple from Sunday at the 2nd loop. Good to see Danny Mischok given' it heaps on his first run at Mt Cotton for a while too.

I decided to concentrate on doing some composite shot photos for each of the boats and this has taken quite a bit of time. Hopefully worth it !
Individual photos by boat are still to come and I will be working on these over the next few weeks as well as the many photos I will take at this weekends round of the Mt Cotton Hillclimb.
Here is another sample of one of the composite photos from the Jetboats.
More composite photos like this and the crash photos from the weekend can be found here

I have finished the gallery print being given to the MG Car Club of Brisbane for the last round of the 2014 series. The gallery print is made up of photos of four competitors getting a bit untidy on their lap. These didn't end up in accidents so no damage done just a nice little attention getter for the drivers concerned !
Let's hope for some good weather and good racing.

There were some tentative runs on Sunday morning for some still coming to terms with the track layout but after lunch everyone had it sorted and racing went up a couple of notches.
Phonsey Mullen in Ramjet had track direction sorted out early and took out the top prize of the weekend.
Kamakazi took crash honours for the weekend, spinning out of the water on the last run of Saturday practice, then on Sunday having another off at the same spot and then a big crash with the "wild ride" winner in the passenger seat. They sure got a wild ride !
Photos will still be a while before I get through them all as I have been very busy with property shoots and I'm working on a few boat racing collages before I do individual boat photos.
Here is one from Kamakazi's wild ride crash and then one of the collages I'm playing with.

The weather was great and track conditions good and along with some great driving, a couple of class records were broken. Congratulations to Shane Merrick in the Datsun 1200 coupe and Barry Evans in his MGB GT V8 for setting new times for their classes to aim for.
Michael von Rappard had another winning weekend taking out both fastest time and the top six with times well under 40 seconds.
I have plenty of photos now for the framed gallery print for the last round coming up at the end of November.
Here are a couple of photos of our new record holders and the Round 5 winner.
All the photos from the event can be found here
Remember, until the end of October you can have all the photos of your car (as shown on the web site) for $50 instead of the usual $100. In most cases that's a lot of photos because it includes both Saturday and Sunday's racing. Contact me via email if you're interested.

Brian walked away and apart from being a bit shaken up appeared to be ok, good news. The car however a sustained a fair bit of damage and it may be a while before we see it racing again.
Here's one from halfway through the crash.

Looking forward to a good day of racing tomorrow

The weather should be perfect both Saturday and Sunday. If you can, get along, the entry is free, the food is great and cheap and the racing will be entertaining as usual.

There were plenty of great laps with the usual Ford driving suspects getting plenty of air under the inside fronts and Shane Merrick in that nice little Datsun 1200 coupe one upping them all.
Neil Lewis took out the day with a time of 39.07 in the Top Six run but superb effort of the day goes to Michael von Rappard in the Dallara. He joined the elite 40 second club by posting a 39.62, then 39.38 and finally a 39.23 . Not that far off 38 seconds for Neil and Michael - well done guys.
There were no major incidents on Sunday, a couple of brake lockups and long slides but all ending safely with everyone ready to fight another day.
Another great race meet at Mt Cotton, roll on Round 5
Here is a link to the photos from Sunday with a couple from the day below.
A fellow Olympus shooter and I had the theatre to ourselves as no other photographers came to the dress rehearsals that night. Equipped with EM-1's and 35-100 f2 SHG lenses we blazed away shooting in some very testing conditions, low and constantly changing light. The cameras proved to be up to the task perfectly, with focussing never an issue. The EM-1 is easily the equal of the E5 and surpassing it in many areas including, I find, focussing speed and accuracy, focussing into the sun the only area where I find the E5 beats it.
That 35-100 really is superb glass.
Here are a few from the night, straight out of camera jpegs with no editing other than downsizing.

The weather was a perfect cloudless sunny day, albeit a little cool until late morning. The winter sun stays a little low in the sky for the tree lined Mt Cotton track, unfortunately creating some troublesome shadows over the track but you deal with it as best as you can.
There wasn't the usual number of competitors this event with quite a few open wheelers absent from the starting lineup but this allowed those that did race plenty of runs over the 2 day event.
Congratulations to Neil Lewis for breaking into the under 40 second club, commiserations to Cameron Stean for sticking the Lancer, one of my favourite sedans, into the bank over the finish line. I couldn't see the car properly on the tow truck but let's hope the damage isn't too bad. Also a big shout out to Darren Billington for keeping me on my toes coming out of the second loop trying hard to stay on the track, and failing, in that quick kart of his. He gathered it all up and got back on the track unscathed fortunately but did manage to lift my heart rate fairly quickly !

Lake Dyer at Laidley was the venue for the Lockyer Powerfest that included powerboat racing put on by the Gold Coast Power Boat Club. As well as the racing there was a hot rod and car show and a static display of a couple of Jetboats.
Unfortunately the weather wasn't that kind on Sunday and a chilly breeze whipped up the lake to the point that racing had to be stopped just prior to lunch. I'm not totally familiar with the classes but the Blown Lites and the larger supercharged boats got a few runs in, enough to get a result for the Blown Lites.
This is circuit racing for boats and it is very different to the V8 Jetboats that I have been photographing for years now. The boats don't get off the mark as quick or turn as tightly as the jet boats but once on the move they accelerate very quickly and their top speed is unbelievably fast. The rolling starts are great to watch as 5 or 6 boats come hurtling past you side by side at 160 to 200 km/h. Insane stuff !
I wished I had a bit more reach with my lens, 560mm (35mm equiv) wasn't really enough to get up close to the boats, especially down the far side straight and the left hander coming on to the front straight. I think 700 - 800 mm would've been about right for the Laidley circuit.
The weather meant I didn't get a chance to see the outboard Formula boats which was a shame because from the photos I have seen of these from other events they are crazy fast and spectacular as well. Oh well next time.
I have photos from the event in my web galleries here
Here are a couple from the day.
I'll be back for another one of these, I'll just put an order in for better weather next time.

]]>The weather could have been a bit better on Saturday, overcast all day with the occasional rain squall coming through but practise and the qualifying rounds were completed ok with no major mishaps.
Sunday morning was a different story, the sun came out and not a cloud in the sky. A great days racing was about to be had !
There were a few big offs during the course of the day, I managed to catch some but not all. I have enough though to make the next gallery print for the following round in October.
Congratulations to the Ramjet crew for taking the days top prize.
The photos are all done now and can be seen here

The MG Car Club of Qld put on another great event and apart from some light rain on Saturday morning the weather gods delivered two nice days to go racing.
The racing was uninterrupted both days with no accidents to speak of, only a few minor spins, allowing the drivers to get plenty of runs in over the weekend.
I have posted photos from Saturday and Sunday's racing to my web galleries, with a couple of samples below.

The MG Car Club of Brisbane held a club point scoring round on Sunday 14th April. So I took the E5 and the 35-100 f2 plus 1.4 tele for a day out. Around 60 competitors lapped the tree lined circuit on a beautiful autumn day. This was the first real drive most of the competitors had run at Mt Cotton this year and a lot of the drivers were taking it fairly cautiously for their early runs. As the day wore on and the temperature got a bit warmer the times got better.
There were no major accidents on the day, a couple of lock-ups and loses at the hairpin and one spin at the top of the first loop on the return run, which slowed proceedings as 4 fence posts had to be replaced.
My plan for the day was to see if I could pan successfully at 1/100th of a sec and still keep the competitors sharp.
I took about 1700 photos for the day (as usual got carried away) and culled those down to about 1000 keepers. The photos from the event can be seen here
Enjoy !
This photo is one of my favourite photos of all time and it is from an early outing with my first digital SLR. The Olympus E-330 was my stepping stone into digital SLR's after being a long time Canon film user and then testing digital waters with a great little Nikon Coolpix compact.
The much maligned live view system was the very reason I purchased this more than slightly off beat camera. The unique 2 mode live view is what made this image a lot easier to achieve than without it. Live view A mode, using a second sensor for viewing, allowed me to put the camera right in among the branches, leaves and bees and be able to see what I wanted to focus on. With a typical, for the time, SLR or DSLR I would have had to stick my head in amongst the bees to look through the optical view finder or just stick the camera in and fire away hoping for the best.
I can't believe the camera wasn't more popular when released. Well, I can really, it was a bit expensive and unfortunately old school reviewers couldn't see the benefit of live view back in 2006. These days it's rare not to have live view on a digital SLR. Go figure !
If you want to see a few more images like the one above from the old E-330 click here.
]]>The 2013 race season for the AFJSA V8 Jetboats has started with a round already being held in Griffith on the 29th and 30th of March.
The first event for the Tweed Valley Jetsprint Association (Rnd 3) to be held at the Cabarita track is on the weekend of the 15th and 16th of June. It's going to be a good season in the north this year with 3 events at Cabarita and one round scheduled for the Maryborough track. The full race season dates can be seen at the AFJSA website here.
I have finished the framed gallery print, for the 1st round, that I donate to the club for fundraising. This year I have gone for a more modern 'black on black' look rather than the old school walnut timber frame and green mat that I had done previously. I am happy with the finished product although there were no really big crashes last season, everyone behaved ! The bad weather (constant rain both days of the 1st round) slowed the speed of the boats down a lot and very few big mistakes were made during the 2nd round.
Here is a small photo of the gallery print.

The re-dedication of the Brisbane's City Hall building after 3 years of restoration was held on Saturday 6th April 2013 at 10 am.
The original city hall took 10 years to build and opened on the 8th of April 1930. The clock tower was the tallest structure in Brisbane until the 1960's.
During the reconstruction approximately 2 million man hours were spent restoring the building and more than 5 olympic swimming pools of waste were removed.
The lighting conditions inside the building were quite challenging requiring highish iso and very low shutter speeds to get the images I wanted. The image stabilising system of my E-5 got a huge work out with my hand held shutter speeds dropping down as low as 1/3rd of a second. Pretty much all the images inside the building were taken with my 9-18mm lens.
The interior of City Hall has been restored beautifully and you could spend days taking photos of the architectural features of this impressive building. I'd love to get in there when there wasn't hundreds of people walking around.
