My name is Ian Colley and I am a working freelance photographer located on the south side of Brisbane, specialising in Real Estate and Architecture photography, however this blog covers all aspects of my photography including my Sport and Landscape photography and any specials that I might have on photos or gallery prints from recent events.
V8 Superboats Round 4
Round 4 of the AFJSA Superboats series is to be held at Cabarita in just over a week, on the 8th and 9th of August.
I can't wait to get there and see some great competition.
I have finished the framed gallery print for the event and attached a sample of the finished frame. This is No. 1 in a limited run frame to be donated to the club. Other copies of this framed gallery print are available for $195 plus freight and handling or choose your own photos from my website to put in the frame.
I have also attached a flyer for the event.

Round 4 TSA - SRA Mt Cotton Hillclimb series photos

Villanova Players - Ginger Mick at Gallipoli
I had a fun night last night shooting a low light theatre dress rehearsal.
The Villanova Players start the season of "Ginger Mick at Gallipoli" friday this week.
Good luck to everyone involved and thanks for the invitation to shoot the rehearsals. I have attached a couple of photos from the night and a link to Villanova Players web site is here.

Ginger Mick at Gallipoli was a collection of poems by C. J Dennis published at the time of the First World War.
This adaptation by Stuart Morritt is a lively physical staging, with songs and movement, bringing to life the story of Ginger Mick, the best mate of the Sentimental Bloke; his days selling rabbits, falling in love and answering the call of the Great War and being shipped off to the Dardanelles.
A heart warming story of mateship, told in the contemporary words of our national poet.
Round 4 TSA-SRA Mt Cotton Hillclimb
Practise for Round 4 of the TSA-SRA Mt Cotton Hillclimb series started today.
The track was a bit damp this morning so everyone had a fairly careful first lap to get a feel for the track. It was nice to see a few new cars today as well as some of the usual favourites. Also good to see Alan McConnell back in a car and looking like he will be quick around the hill.
Crash of the day goes to James Heymer in his open wheeler, in and over the nuts at the hairpin on the way back. Looked like a wild ride.

QHC 2015 photos finished
I have finished sorting the photos from the Queensland Hillclimb Championships held last week at Mt Cotton. They have all been uploaded to my website and are ready for viewing and purchase. See here
